Fraser Island, Australia – Shipwreck

It was in 1935 that the ship Moheno broke away from being towed during a cyclone near Australia. It then drifted towards Fraser Island off the coast of Queensland and has since then been a tourist attraction on the Island.
It was in February 2009 that I visited this famous shipwreck and did what I do best… took pictures!
Although this particular ship is photographed by almost every visitor to the Island, it was the first wreck I had ever photographed. Although no one had died in this wreck, it was quite eerie as it reminded me of Titanic or something romantic like it.
Fraser Island is definitely a must if you ever go visit Australia!
